Jack Geraghty was born in London and raised in Hertfordshire where he still lives and works. He won his first international art competition at age sixteen - the Hoffman Foundation Art prize. Jack has since hosted his own exhibitions in Letchworth and Hitchin and has displayed work at other galleries around Hertfordshire, although he now has his sights firmly on London and beyond.

Jack is self-taught and continues to develop his eye and skill with great speed and maturity. At only 27, there is still a whole world of experimentation to come from Jack Geraghty.

In its depictions the form of a person is of delight, happiness, love, revelation. Inversely: anguish and suffering, rage, envy, terror - our best and our worst. It is impossible to not somehow see ourselves in these forms. Jack casts us back to the prehistoric but pushes us to the future. There are both fine and graphic qualities to Jack’s style which makes it truly distinctive, unmistakable, and shareable.

We hope you enjoy the work and future exhibitions.
